Alan Herd is on a journey round the canals of the Midlands, meeting fascinating characters and discovering the history of our inland waterways. THE WATER BOATMAN is on Discovery Shed on Sunday 9th October, starting at 10am and continuing on into the evening. He journeys on diverse water craft ranging from historic working boats to river cruisers, and shows us the route of the famous 'Stourport Ring".
